This Thursday the P3/East Seattle workshop will be doing some of our training for friends, friends of friends, family, family of friends, and generally interested folk to come and see. We will also be performing an original piece conceived by Robyn Hunt that plays in the stars and is set to the beautifully contemplative tunes of Jami Seiber. If you're in Seattle and would like to hear more, send me a message for details!
After finishing a life-changing chapter in Columbia, SC, I've found a moment to create this thing. It's been a wonderfully reflective process to go through the work I've done over the years and consider what is yet to come. I am so thankful I had that time with the people who journeyed alongside me in grad school. And now, I'm looking forward.
So what's next?
In mid August, I will be moving myself (and Duke Orsino) out to Cincinnati, where I have never been, to start the next big thing. I have set down a deposit for a tiny (teeny) studio apartment on a tree-lined street about a 7 minute drive from the theater. I've unburdened myself of all furniture and extras that I can't fit in my Toyota Echo (also teeny) and set that in storage. The rest comes with me. Do you know anything about Cincinnati? I would love to hear about it because I am ignorant of all things Ohio. All things except chili over spaghetti...
